PERRY VANHOOSE
1915-1984

Perry Vanhoose, age 68, died Friday, June 8, 1984 at Paul B.
Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.

Born in Johnson County, September 21, 1915, the son of
the late Fred and Marinda Daniels VanHoose, he was
a retired employee, a member of the Freewill Baptist Church
and a resident of Nippa, at the time of his death.

Mr. VanHoose is survived by his wife, Helen Preston VanHoose;
a son, Hobart VanHoose of Flatwoods; a daughter,
Kathleen Hall, Paintsville; three brothers, Wendell VanHoose
of Nippa, Hobart VanHoose, Glasco, KY., Roger VanHoose,
Curtis, OH.; two sisters, Edna Sparks, Curtis, OH, Anna Ruth 
Wheeler, Paintsville; four grandchildren;
and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 10, in the
Toms Creek Freewill Baptist Church, with Reverends
James Kelley Caudill, Paul Browning and C. C. Hall,
officiating.

Burial was made in the Bascom VanHoose Cemetery,
at Nippa, under the direction of the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home.
