LUTISHA VANHOOSE 1872-1961 Mrs. Lutisha Van Hoose, 89, resident of Wittensville, died in a local hospital Sunday at 2:43 a.m., following an illness of three weeks. A native of Johnson County she was born August 3, 1872 the daughter of the late William D. and Macie Jane Wilcox Boyd. She had been a member of the Freewill Baptist Church since 1891. Her Husband Albert " Tick " Van Hoose, preceded her in death September 1941. Surviving are three sons, Fred, Robie and Clyde van Hoose all of Sitka; a daughter Mrs. Hansel Van Hoose, Wittensville; two sisters, Mrs. Victoria Waugh and Mrs. Virgie Waugh, both of Ashland. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday from the Mouth of Rush Freewill Baptist Church with Millard Van Hoose, Claude Preston and C. C. Hall as officiating Ministers. Burial was in the Bascom Van Hoose Cemetery at Nippa. Paintsville Herald Wednesday Dec.05 1961
