JULIA VANHOOSE 1948 JULIA VAN HOOSE DIES MONDAY Mrs. Julia Van Hoose, 85, widow of Bascom Van Hoose, died at her home in Nippa Monday, April 12, after an illness of more than a year. Mrs. Van Hoose was the daughter of the late Nathan and Fanny Pack Helton and was a well-known and beloved resident of her county. She was affiliated with the Freewill Baptist Church and was a devoted member. She is survived by seven children: Arthur Van Hoose, Glow; Burns Van Hoose, Thealka; Beulah Van Hoose and Mrs. Nellie Preston, both of Nippa, Charles Van Hoose, Leslie Van Hoose and Zelda Bailey, all of this city, and Mrs. Francis Bellamy of Jenkins, Ky. Funeral services were conducted at the Freewill Baptist Church at Nippa at 2:00 P. M Wednesday, April 14 by Revs. L. E. Colliver, and C. C. Hall. Burial was in the family cemetery near the home.
