BONNIE VANHOOSE 1931-2000 Bonnie Jean VanHoose, 68, of Tutor Key, died Monday Jun.26 2000 at her home. Mrs. VanHoose was born Dec. 12, 1931, in Paintsville, a daughter of Mary Elizabeth Castle VanHoose and the late Richard VanHoose. She was a retired teacher's aide from the Johnson County school system. Additional survivors include her husband, Harry Thomas VanHoose; a son, Danny VanHoose of Pikeville; a brother, Richard Thomas Castle of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Selina Belle Preston of Frontier, Mich., and Elizabeth Ann Clay of Prestonsburg; a grandchild; and a stepgrandchild. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Tom's Creek United Baptist Church by Elders J.D. Rice, Bruce Howard and Dewey M. Mullins. Burial will be in VanHoose family cemetery. Friends may call today at Paintsville Funeral Home and until time of the service Thursday at the church.
