O.C. TAYLOR
1882-1958
  
O.C. Taylor, 75, died suddenly Thursday afternoon February 27, at
his home at Thelma.  The son of Daniel H. and Anna Price Taylor,
he was born March 3, 1882, in Lawrence County.
  
He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and formerly
worked as a miner and farmer.
  
Surviving are four children:  two sons, Buford Taylor, Patrick,
Ohio; Ennis Taylor, Bim, W. Va.; two daughters, Ethel Van Hoose,
Thealka; Sylvia Wheeler, Thelma.
  
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 1,
from the Thelma Primitive Baptist Church.
  
Burial followed in the family cemetery.
