Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for
Daisy Whitt Stambaugh, 102, who died October, 20 1995,
at Martin County Health Care Center.
  
Mrs. Stambaugh was born December 25 1892, in Johnson County,
the daughter of the late L.L. Goodman and Sarah Whitt.
  
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
    
Also preceding her in death was her husband,
J. V. Stambaugh, in 1973
  
Surviving are three granddaughters, Annette Cash,
Jackie Derossett and Judith Saunders; and
three great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Monday, October, 23, at
First Christian Church, Paintsville, with
Eldon Rucker officiating.
  
Burial was in Wells-Buckingham Cemetery at Paintsville.
