QUENTIN A. SPRADLIN
1919-1990
Retired miner Quentin A. Spradlin, 70, died Sunday, June 17, in
King's Daughters' Medical Center, Ashland.
Mr. Spradlin was born September 9, 1919 in Johnson County, the son of
Chalmer Spradlin and Zora Johnson Spradlin.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille Music Spradlin; two sons, Quentin C.
Spradlin, of Paintsville, and Ricky D. Spradlin, of Hager Hill; three
daughters, Peggy Joyce Meade, of Hager Hill, Linda G. Kuhn, of
Greenfield, Indiana, and Debra L. Ford, of Lawrenceburg; four
sisters, Ruth Sparks, of Wittensville, Janet Fyffe and Arlie
Whitaker, both of West Van Lear, Wilma Jean Butcher, of Springfield,
Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, today, June 20, at 2 p.m.,
in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Billy Ford and Jeff
Stanley officiating.
Burial was in the family cemetery at Hager Hill.
