ALBERT SPRADLIN 1898-1976 Albert Spradlin, 78, died Saturday, November 6, in the Paintsville Hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Spradlin was born October 4, 1898, in Johnson County, the son of George B. and Charity Adams Spradlin. He was a resident of Denver, a retired miner and a member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Lydia Arms Spradlin; three sons, Orbin C. of Paintsville, Richard of Hager Hill and Elmon of Prestonsburg; three daughters, Audrey Blair of Ashland, Edna Lee Blair of Dayton (Ohio) and Ossie Ratliff of Vanlue, Ohio; five brothers, Clemons D., Earl, Walter and George, all of Denver and Irvine of Paintsville, a sister, Mary Jayne Picklesimer of Meally; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, November 8, in the Liberty Baptist Church with Herb Arms and Melvin Blanton as officiating ministers. Burial was in the family cemetery at Denver with Jones-Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements. PAINTSVILLE HERALD WEDNESDAY 11-24-1976
