SYLVIA JANE SLONE
1915-2001
  
Sylvia Jane Slone, 85, of Sitka, died Wednesday Mar.21 2001 in
Mountain Manor Nursing Facility in Paintsville.
  
Mrs. Slone was born July 2, 1915, in Johnson County, a daughter of
the late Proctor and Laura Harris Slone.
  
Her husband, George Slone, died in 1996.
  
She was a member of Sitka Freewill Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are a son, Graden Slone of Sitka; a daughter, Pamela
Diane O'Bryan of Sitka; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren;
and two great-great-grandchildren.
  
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sitka Freewill Baptist
Church by Jim McKenzie.
  
 Burial will be in Slone Cemetery in Sitka.
  
Friends may call from 2 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
