PEARLIE SALYER

Mrs. Pearlie Salyer, 86, died December 15, in St. Clair Medical
Center in Morehead following an extended illness.
  
Mrs. Salyer was born March 30, 1899 in Johnson County, the
daughter of ARMSTRONG and CYNTHIA BOLEN ROWLAND.
  
She was a resident of Red Bush and a member of the Enterprise
Baptist Church.
  
Her husband, Freeman Salyer, preceded her in death October 26
1974.
  
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Payler of Cincinnati,
OH, Mrs Christine Osterfeld of Miami, FL, Mrs. Opal Williams of
Meally and Mrs. Lois Pennington of Red Bush and Mrs. Dessie Lewis
of Elliott County.
  
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, December 18, in
Enterprise Baptist Church at Red Bush with Rev. Ellis Hamilton and
Elder Paul E. Keaton officiating.
  
Burial will be in the family cemetery at Red Bush.
  
Paintsville Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
