HATTEN SALYER

Hatten Salyer, 85, died Saturday January 2, at the J. J. Jordan
Geriatric Center in Louisa.
  
Mr. Salyer was born October 4, 1896 in Johnson County, the son of
Joseph and Julia Johnson Salyer.
  
He was a resident of Staffordsville.
  
Survivors include a son, Joseph Elastus Salyer, St. Petersburg,
Fla., and one grandson, Don Salyer of Staffordsville. Funeral
services were held at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Monday,
January 4, with Elder Paul E. Keaton officiating.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery at Red Bush and Jones-Preston
Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
