RUTH LEE ROWLAND 1925-2007 Ruth Lee Rowland, 82, of East Point, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville. Born Jan. 1, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Vada Franklin and Lonnie Gullett. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Creval Rowland of East Point; a daughter, Jenny Burkhalter of Paintsville; seven sons, Charles Rowland, Gary Rowland and William Rowland, all of Hager Hill, Clifford Rowland and Richard Rowland, both of Paintsville, Happy Rowland of East Point, and Mike Rowland of Thealka; two sisters, Gertrude Bowens and Virginia Gladwell, both of Van Lear; a half-brother, Billy Conway Gullett of Huntington, W.Va.; 23 grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Blair and Ronnie Spriggs officiating.
