CYNTHIA ROWLAND April 24, 1952 Cynthia Bollin Rowland, 74, died at her home at Red Bush, Monday, April 14, 1952, of a heart ailment and pneumonia. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday, April 16, with the Revs. Harry Collier, Tommy Bailey and Hood Wallin officiating. She was the daughter of Preston and Nancy Trimble Bollin, and the widow of Armstrong Rowland. She is survived by four children, Vesta Salyer, Pearlie Salyer, both of Red Bush, Dessie Lewis, Eldridge, Ky., and Eckell Rowland of Red Bush. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bessie Rowland . Other survivors include 18 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. She was a member of the Red Bush Interprise Baptist Church and a devoted Christian. she was a kind and loving mother and loved by all who knew her. All you do for Jesus is all that counts she said. These words she often repeated while she lay on her death bed. Then she said good-bye to those she did adore. And went to live with loved ones who have gone before.
