ELLIS H. ROBERTS 1909-1960 Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the Third Street Baptist Church for Ellis H. Roberts, 51, better known as Dick, who died at his home in Dearborn, Michigan, Saturday, December 17, after an illness of four years. The son of Vern and Vada Spradlin Roberts, of this city, he was born at Hager Hill May 2, 1909. He had lived in Dearborn for the past sixteen years, where he worked as an interior decorator. Surviving besides his parents are his wife, Mrs. Bessie May Dills; two sons, Thomas Edward and Ellis Ray Roberts, both of Dearborn; five sisters, Virginia Transparenti and Venice Griquari, both of Baltimore Md., Elizabeth Fraley, Harrison, O.; Hortense Helton and Carrie Osborne, both of this city; three brothers, Kelly and Dan Roberts, both of this city; Walter Roberts, Coal Grove, Ohio. Services will be conducted by Millard Van Hoose and Scott Castle. Burial will be in the Town Cemetery. PAINTSVILLE HERALD WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 21, 1960
