Kevin Earl Rice, 29, of Oil Springs, died Sunday, Feb. 20 2005.
  
Born April 15, 1975, at Paintsville, he was a son of Verlillie Hall
Rice of Oil Springs and the late Payne Rice Sr. He was a butcher with
Sav-A-Lot of Prestonsburg, a graduate of Morehead State University,
and member of Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church.
  
He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Fred Rice.
  
Additional survivors in-clude seven sisters, Edna Mae Dunn of
Paintsville, Joyce Reed of Salyersville, Maxine Yates of Lexington,
Debbie Sowards of Flat Gap, Jodie Music, Georgie Music and Terry Lynn
Cantrell, all of Oil Springs; and four brothers, Payne Rice Jr. and
Phillip Rice, both of Oil Springs, Roger Joseph of River and Robin
Joseph of Lowmansville.
  
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at Pigeon
Enterprise Baptist Church with Revs. Delbert Music and Roger Hill
officiating.
  
Burial will be in Payne Rice Cemetery, Oil Springs, under direction
of Paintsville Funeral Home.
