Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Thursday, April 12, 1990 at
2:00 p.m., in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, for Irvine
Ratliff, 66.
  
Mr. Ratliff was born August 18, 1923 in Johnson County, the son of
William (Bud) and Katie Dale Ratliff.
  
He was retired from the U.S. Military.
  
Surviving are his wife, Arbutus Honeycutt Ratliff, one daughter,
Vicki Schindler, of Volga; one brother, Charles, of Jonesboro,
Arkansas; two sisters, Jessie VanHoose, of Thealka, and Virgie
Kimbier, of Paintsville; and two grandchildren.
  
Officiating at services will be Revs. Eddie Young and Dick
VanHoose.
  
Burial will be in Ratliff Cemetery at Turner Branch.
