Mrs. Sallie Butcher Price, 65, died at 2 A. M. December 24, at her home
at River with a heart attack.

Mrs. Price was born in Johnson County, on May 8, 1883, the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Butcher.

She was a member of the United Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Jesse Price and the following children,
Charles, Freeburn, Ky., Frank, Prestonsburg, Clark, Pond Creek, Otto,
Freeburn, Ky., Hubert, Detroit, Mich., William, Freeburn, Ky., Russell,
River, Mrs. William Pigg, City, and Mrs. Curtis Castle, Wharton, W. Va.

The following brothers and sisters also survive: J. K. Butcher, city,
Beecher Butcher, Williamsport, Wilbert Butcher, Williamsport, Mrs. W. M.
Fannin, Thelma, Mrs. John Van Hoose, Ricardson, and Mrs. Frank Ward,
Williamsport.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 A. M. December 25, at the Friendship
Church at Williamsport by Revs. Elzie Banks, Leonard Walters, and Germ
Walters.

Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the Preston
Funeral Home.
