John C. Price, age 58, died Friday, July 15, 2:30 pm at a
Lexington hospital.
  
Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 18, 2 pm, at the
Chapel of the Preston Funeral Home with Rev. C.C. Hall and Tommie
Reynolds officiating.
  
Born October 7, 1907 at Van Lear, he was a son of Martin L. and
Reba Davis Price.
  
Surviving are four brothers and a sister: Luther, Morehead; Eddie,
Dayton, Ohio; Elmer, Paintsville; Cecil, Meally; and Nora Price,
Paintsville.
  
Burial was held in the Johnson Cemetery at Thelma with the Preston
Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
