EUGENE PRICE
1914-1981
   
Eugene Price, 67, of West Van Lear, died Wednesday, December
23, (1981) at Highlands Regional Medical Center,
Prestonsburg.
  
Mr. Price was born in Floyd County, March 8, 1914, the son
of George and Hester Auxier Price.
  
He is survived by his wife, Edna Sammons Price; two
daughters, Barbara Fraley, West Van Lear, and Eugenia Lewis,
Ashland; a brother, Garner Price, Thelma; two grandchildren
and one great grandchild.
  
Funeral services were conducted by Elders Charles Price and
B.C. Ferguson at Concord United Baptist Church, Saturday,
December 26, (1981).
   
Burial was in the family cemetery at Thelma with Jones-
Preston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
