Elder Charles A. Price, 82, of Ashland, died Wednesday, Dec. 27
2006.
  
Born Jan. 13, 1924, in Lawrence County, he was a son of the late
James M. and Ruth Music Price. He was an insurance broker with
Commonwealth Insurance Company and a member of Concord United
Baptist Church.
  
Survivors include his wife, Julia Walters Price of Ashland; a son,
Larry Douglas Price of South Point, Ohio; three daughters, Donna
Sue Wooten of Ashland, Doris Jean Castle of Yulee, Fla., and
Neldred Louisa Austin of Wurtland; a brother, Paul Price of
Flatwoods; two sisters, Bureita Travis of Irvine, and Anna Pearl
Atkinson of Thelma; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Concord
United Baptist Church with John Blanton, Dewey Mullins, Jr.
Murray, and John Pelphrey officiating. Burial will be in Johnson
Cemetery, Thelma, under direction of Preston Funeral Home,
Paintsville.
  
Visitation will be from 5 - 9 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 29, at the
funeral home.
