CECIL PRICE
1918-2001
Cecil Price, 83, died Sunday, May 20, at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical
Center.
Mr. Price was born March 9, 1918, in Johnson County, to the late Silver
and Alice Ratliff Price.
He was a retired miner.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Boyd Price, on December
8, 1979.
Surviving are four sons, Steve and Randy, both of Offutt, Roger of Oil
Springs and Kenny of Van Lear; four daughters, Vonda Howard and June
Reynolds, both of Paintsville, Laura Mae Geeting of Eaton, Ohio, and
Naomi Clark of Kathleen, Georgia; one brother, Millard Price of Offutt;
two sisters, Susan Ellen Bender of Marengo, Ohio, and Bonnie Steele of
Wheelersburg, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22, at Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, with John Sparks officiating.
Burial followed in Price Cemetery at Offutt.
