ALICE PRICE
1897-1983
     
Mrs. Alice Price, 80, died July 27 1983 at her River
Home.
  
Mrs. Price was born February 27,1897 in Johnson County,
the daughter Of Samuel and Rhoda Smith Ratliff.
  
She was a member of the River United Baptist Church.
  
Her husband Silver Price Sr. preceded her in death in
1970.
  
Surviving are five sons Cleabert, Cecil, Millard, Bud and
Jack Price all of River, Three daughters, Veneda Price,
River, Susan Ellen Benders and Bonnie Steele both of
Wheelersburg Ohio, two brothers Elmer and Otis Ratliff
both of Lackey, 38 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren,
and seven great great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held July 30 in River United
Baptist Church with B.C. Ferguson Bruse Howard and
Charles Price officiating.
  
Burial was in Price Cemetery, River Under the direction
of Preston Funeral Home.
