Fannie Pennington, 77, died at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 1950,
at the home of her niece, Mrs. Malcom Honeycutt, Odds, KY.

She was born in Morgan County, KY., March 9, 1873, the daughter of
Bailey and Sylvania Cantrell Bolen.

She was preceded in death by her husband in March, 1946.

She was a member of the United Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Collins, Odds,
KY., Bailey Pennington, Belfry, KY., and Frank Pennington,
Lookout, Ky. Also surviving are four sisters and seven brothers,
Mrs. Nancy Johnson, and Mrs. Paulina Blair, City, Mrs. Clarinda
Ward and Mrs. Rissie Dawson, both of Van Lear, Joe Boyd, P.L., and
James Bolen all of Van Lear, John Bolen, Wayland, Elijah Bolen,
Fishtrap and Amos Bolen, City.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, August 5, at
the home of her niece at Odds, by Rev. Grover Fannin. The
Philadelphia Church Choir sang.

Burial was in the Butcher Cemetery at Odds, under the direction of
the Jones Funeral Home.
