MARY MAGDELINE PATRICK

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 1, for Mary Magdeline
Patrick, 58, who died Wednesday, August 29, 1973 in a local hospital
following a brief illness.
  
The daughter of the late Jack Adams and Virgie Spencer Adams, she was
born May 22, 1915.  She was a member of the Church of Christ and had been
preceded in death by her husband John Beecher Patrick in 1967.
  
Surviving, in addition to her mother, is a daughter Billie Ann Sisco of
Meally, a son Irvin Dennis Patrick of Paintsville and one grandchild.
  
Additional survivors include four sisters, Laura Salyers and Georgene
Duty of Van Lear and Betty England and Myrtle Duncan of Davy, W. Va., and
four brothers, Herbert Adams of Bailysville, W. Va., and Douglas Adams,
Jimmy Adams and Walter Adams, all of Davy.
  
Reverend J. H. Short officiated at the services held in the church of
Christ at Meally with burial following in the Patrick Cemetery at Meally.
  
Arrangements were under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
