JOHN PATRICK

Pfc. John (Buddy) Patrick, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Beecher Patrick of
Ascoe, W. Va., and grandson of Mrs. Nancy Patrick Vulitch of Meally, was
killed in an automobile accident in Douglas, Ariz., Sept.09 1953.
  
Born June 16, 1935 at Van Lear, he enlisted in the Marine Corps February
24, 1953

Surviving besides his parents and grandmother are one sister, Billie Ann
Patrick and one brother, Irvin Patrick, both of Ascoe, W.Va.
  
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 20, at the home of his
grandmother at Meally with Rev. S.C. Honeycutt officiating.
  
Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the Preston
Funeral Home.
