HOBERT PACK
1934-2007
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1 p.m. at the
Hurricane United Baptist Church at Williamsport, Ky., for Elder
Hobert Pack, 73, of Williamsport, who passed away Sunday, Nov. 11 at
Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.
Mr. Pack was born June 28, 1934 in Johnson County, Ky., son of the
late Herbert and Jettie Marie Burchett Pack.
He was a former deputy sheriff and a U.S. veteran.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Pack Jr.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Mollett Pack of Williamsport; one son,
Paul Irvin (Kathy) Pack of Williamsport; two daughters, Awilda Ann
Pack (Lester) Green of Thelma, Ky., and Connie (Don) Hurt of
Williamsport; two brothers, Clarence Pack of Boons Camp, Ky., and
Don E. Pack of Dayton, Ohio; five sisters, Mary Schwartz of Chipley,
Ohio, Sarah Delong of Van Lear, Ky., Jean Schwartz of Wapakoneta,
Ohio, Janet Sue Morris of Florida, and Edna Mae Pack Walters of
Williamsport; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The service will be officiated by Kevin Wheeler, Doug Preston, David
Baldwin and Jim Lemaster, with burial following in the Pack Family
Cemetery at Williamsport.
Arrangements under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home of
Paintsville, Ky.
