JANE MURRAY MRS. JANE MURRAY PASSES AT LOWMANSVILLE. Mrs. Jane Murray, age 78, died at her home at Lowmansville, Monday February 8, following an extended illness from infirmities. Mrs. Murray had been a member of the Georges Creek United Baptist Church for the past 50 years. She was the widow of the late Samuel Murray, a veteran of the Civil War. Funeral services were held at the Murray home Wednesday in charge of Rev. Guy W. Preston and burial in the family cemetery at Lowmansville. The undertaking department of the Mountain Furniture and Hardware Company was in charge. Mrs. Murray is survived by five sons and one daughter, all residing in the vicinity of Lowmansville. They are Rhoderick, Albert, Alvin, William and Jesse Murray, and Mrs. Fannie Pennington. Paintsville Herald Thursday February 11, 1937
