Burns Fatal To Odds Woman
Mrs. Cora Wells Meade, 73, wife of Dr. Joe Meade of Odds, died
Sunday evening in a local hospital of burns received Saturday when
her clothing caught fire from an open grate at her home. Mrs.
Meade had been in ill health for several years.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wash Wells of Odds.
Surviving besides her husband are one sister and six step-
children.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday afternoon by Rev. S. C.
Honeycutt.
Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Funeral Home of the Paintsville Furniture Company.
