Mrs. McKenzie of Sitka dies; rites Tuesday
  
Paintsville
   
Mrs. Cora McKenzie, 87, Sitka, died Saturday in Plain
City, Ohio.
  
She was born Jan. 28, 1879, daughter of the late Merland and Jane
Rose Ward and was the widow of N. A. McKenzie.
  
Survivors include a son, Richard McKenzie, of Ashland; three
daughters, Mrs. J. M. Sloan, Paintsville, Mrs. Roy Daniels, Sitka,
and Mrs. John Hampton, Plain City, Ohio; a sister, ????? Amanda
VanHoose of Urbana, Ohio.
  
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at George's
Creek United Baptist Church by the Rev. F. F. Riggsby.
  
Burial will be in McKenzie Cemetery at Lowmansville.
  
The body had been taken from Preston Funeral Home to the home of J.
M. Sloan on ????? St. in Paintsville.
   
Note: According to the McKenzie Cemetery Records on Brown's Fork of
George's Creek, the date of death was Nov. 6, 1966
