DESSIE LYONS

Dessie Adams Lyons, 79, died Tuesday, November 29 1994 at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Lyons was born February 22, 1915, in Johnson County,
the daughter of the late Phonozo and Mallie Selvage Adams.
She was a member of the Collista Freewill Baptist Church.
Also preceding her in death were two husbands,
Charlie Conley, on December 8, 1948, and George Lyons.
Surviving, are three sisters, Bessie Ward of Van Lear,
Alta Mae Melvin of Paintsville and Ann Robinson of Ashland.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 1 at
Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel,
with Hondel Adams officiating
Burial was in Wells Cemetery at Paintsville.
