Virgie Ratliff Kimbler, 88, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008 at
Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, W.Va.
Born Jan. 1, 1920, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late
Bud and Katie Dale Ratliff. She was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Kimbler, in
1969.
Survivors include a daughter, Diana Pennington of Paintsville; and
two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 30, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Raymond Elwood Pennington and Lester Pennington
officiating.
Burial was in Ratliff Cemetery, Paintsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
