RAYMOND KIMBLER 1919-1968 Rites Held For Raymond Kimbler At Paintsville Paintsville police officer Raymond Kimbler, 48, died Friday, March 29 1968 at the Paintsville Clinic, after a brief illness. Services were held Sunday, March 31, at the Third Street Freewill Baptist Church, with Claude Preston and Scott Castle officiating. Burial was in the Lonnie Castle Cemetery at Turner Branch. Born June 27 1919, he was the son of Blaine and the late Tisha Salyer Kimble, and was a resident of Paintsville at the time of his death. His wife, Virgie Ratliff Kimbler, and a daughter Diana Lynn, survive. Also surviviing are two brothers, Mitchel Kimbler of Sitka; and Claude Kimbler, of Marysville, Ohio; six sisters, Mrs. H.L. McKenzie, of Paintsville; Mrs. Tommie Salyer of Sitka; Mrs. Verlin Murray, Mrs. Flora Halland, and Mrs. Howard Russell Salyor, all of Middletown, Ohio; and Mrs. Don Norris of San Diego, California. The Paintsville City Police force acted as pallbearers. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home. PAINTSVILLE HERALD MAR. 1968
