JAMES D. JOHNSON
James D. Johnson, 73, died February 2 in a Lexington
Hospital after an extended illness.
A resident of Johnson County all his life, he was the son of
James D. Johnson and Mahala Litteral Johnson.
He was a farmer by occupation and was a member of the United
Baptist Church.
Surviving are three brothers and one sister: S.J. Johnson,
Ashland; Leonard Johnson, Wheelersburg, Ohio; Dr. Glen
Johnson, Wayne, W. Va. Mary Fraley, Thelma.
Services were conducted at 1:30 p.m., February 4, at the
Buffalo Baptist Church by the Revs. Cullie Sparks and
Leonard Walters.
Burial was made in the Johnson Cemetery under the direction
of the Preston Funeral Home.
