HEBER JOHNSON 1910-1960 Local Merchant Dies Suddenly Heber Johnson, 49, well known merchant of this city and operator of Johnsons Grocery in Bridgeford, died suddenly in a local hospital, of a heart attack at 1:30 a.m. August 31 1960. The son of Mrs. Nora Price Johnson Daniel and the late Charlie Johnson, he was born at Thelma October 18, 1910. He was a member of the United Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lucy Sammons Johson; a son, William Johnson of this city; a daughter, Mrs. James R. Boyd, Huntington, W. Va.; a brother, Levi Johnson; two grandsons, Robert David Boyd and James David Johnson; a granddaughter, Susan Kaye Johnson. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday from the Concord United Baptist Church with Buell Ferguson, Cullie Spark, and Florida Lyons as officiating ministers.
