CHARLES JOHNSON
Charles Johnson, 67 died at his home at Thelma, Kentucky,
on Thursday, March 17, at 10:06 P.M., as the result of a
stroke. Mr. Johnson had been ill for two months.
He was a life-long resident of Thelma, his occupation
being that of livestock dealer and farmer, and a member
of the United Baptist Church.
He was a son of J.D. and Magala Litteral Johnson.
Besides his wife, Nora Price Johnson, he is survived by
two sons, Levi and Heber, both of Thelma, four brothers,
Dr. Glenn Johnson, Wayne, W. Va., S.J. Johnson, Ashland,
Leonard Johnson, Wheelersburg, Ohio. One sister, Mrs.
Mary L. Fraley of Thelma, also survives.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. Sunday, March
20, at the United Baptist Church at Meally by Revs.
Leonard Walters, Charley Sparks, and Buell Ferguson.
Burial was in the Johnson Cemetery under the direction of
the Preston Funeral Home.
