JAMES DAVID HOPSON
1938-1996
James David "Jimmie" Hopson, 58, of Paintville, died Sunday,
November 10, 1996.
He was born January 23,1938, in Floyd County the son of
Raymond and Mable Underwood
He is preceded in death by both his mother Mable and
his father Raymond.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Wheeler Hopson; one son,
James Raymond "J.R," Hopson of Paintsville
one daughter, Tara Hopson Branham,, of Paintsville;
one sister, Bonnie Spencer of Martin; two aunts, Effie Hopkins
of Prestonsburg, Mary Williamson of Charleston West Virginia,
and three grandchildren.
Services were November 13 at Mayo Methodist Church with
Errol Archerson officiating.
Burial was in the Wells Cemetery in Paintsville.
