ETTA HILL 1911-1963 Mrs. Etta Hill of Red Bush Dies Saturday Mrs. Etta Hill, 52, resident of Red Bush, died in a local hospital at 3:55 p.m., Saturday, October 5, after an illness of several months. The daughter of D.H. and Sarah Evans Ferguson, she was born at Keaton, March 29, 1911, and had resided at Red Bush most of her life. She was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Lloyd Hill, a teacher in the Flat Gap School; a son, John D. Hill, Red Bush; two brothers, Nelson Ferguson, Keaton; Foster Ferguson, Louisa; a sister, Mrs. Wallace Bailey, Keaton. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Keaton United Baptist Church with Ellis Hamilton and Tommie Bailey as officiating ministers. Burial was in the family cemetery at Keaton.
