Rose Marie Herrera, 48, of Van Lear, died Wednesday, Sept. 29,
2004 at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.

Born June 15, 1956, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Ashley and Nora Webb Butcher.

She was a CNA with Salyersville.

Survivors include her husband, Theodore "Pete" Herrera of Van
Lear; a daughter, Venesha Marie Butcher of Van Lear; eight
brothers, Harold Butcher, Foley Butcher, Chester Butcher, Sheldon
Butcher, Gene Butcher, Charles Butcher, Randell Butcher, and
Darrell Butcher, all of Van Lear; two sisters, Lorene Hall of
Wabash, Ind., and Norina Hackworth of Prestonsburg; and one
grandchild.

Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 2, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Gary Smith officiating.

Burial was in Butcher Family Cemetery, Daniels Creek, Van Lear,
under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
