MINERVA HATFIELD 1881-1959 Mrs. Minerva Hatfield, 78, lifelong resident of East Point, died Saturday, October 3, at the home of her nephew, Walter Ramey, at East Point, following an illness of several weeks. The daughter of the late John and Jane Stevens Estep, she was born in Johnson County February 7, 1881. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was first married to Sam Robinson in 1897, who preceded her in death January 17, 1942. Her second marriage was to John Hatfield, who also preceded her in death. Surviving besides her nephew is a brother, Ben Estep of Blaine. Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m., from the East Point Church of Christ with Rev. S. C. Honeycutt as officiating minister. Burial was at East Point in the Hager-Lake Cemetery. PAINTSVILLE HERALD WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 7, 1959
