Amanda M. Hall, 89, of Paintsville, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Paul
B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
     
Born April 29, 1915, in Carter County, she was a daughter of the
late Samuel L. and Julie Hale Stapleton. She was an assembly worker
with General Motors, Michigan.
   
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Hall; and a son,
Jim Hall.
  
Survivors include four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 7, at Tom's Creek Free Will
Baptist Church with James Kelly Caudill and Jeff Shurow
officiating.
  
Burial was in Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
