Thelma Hager, 61, Dies Following Long Illness

Mrs. Thelma Hager, 61, wife of John Hager, of Cliff, died February
14 at the McDowell Memorial hospital following a long illness of
diabetes and complications.

Mrs. Hager was a daughter of W. E. (Bunk) Daniels and the late Lou
Tisha Boyd Daniels. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving her, besides her husband and her father, are four
daughters, Mrs. Ruth Derossett, LaGrange, Kentucky, Mrs. Muriel
Williams, Maysville, Mrs. Judy Von See, Brooklyn, New York, and
Miss Helen Sue Hager of Morehead State College; three sisters and
one brother, Mrs. Lillian Preston, Irvine, Kentucky, Charlotte
Daniels, Alexandria, Virginia, Mona Daniels, Covington, Kentucky,
and Clyde Daniels, of East Point.

Funeral rites were conducted February 16 from the Community
Methodist Church, the Revs. David Blankenship, Charles
