TALITHA GOODRICH 1873-1961 Services Here For " Aunt Lyda" Goodrich Mrs. Talitha Goodrich, 86, better known as " Aunt Lyda" died suddenly at her home at Covington Tuesday, November 21, 1961. A native of Wheelersburg, she was born January 29, 1873, the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Crace Howard. She made her home in this city for many years before moving to Covington several years ago. She was a member of the United Baptist Church. She was first married to Dr. John Childers who preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to George W. Preston who also preceded her in death, and her third marriage was to W. E. Goodrich also Deceased. Surviving are a foster daughter, Mrs. Leonard Daniel of this city; one brother, Farrish Howard, Texas, three half brothers, Lonza Brown and Noah Brown both of Falcon, and Fleming Brown, Lexington; a half sister, Mrs. Daisy Buckley, Miami, Fla. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday from the United Baptist Church with F. F. Rigsby and Cully Sparks as officiating ministers. Burial was in the Preston Cemetery.
