NELSON FERGUSON
   
Nelson Ferguson, 80 of Ashland, died Friday, February 9 1973 at
his home following an extended illness.
  
He was a retired Ashland Oil Company employee and was affiliated
with the Enterprise Baptist Church.
  
He was the son of the late Don and Sarah Evans Ferguson.
  
Immediate survivors include his wife, Maxie Bailey Ferguson, one
son, Ferral Ferguson of Keaton, one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Salyer
of Ashland, and one sister, Mrs. Wallace Bailey.
  
Funeral services were conducted by H. C. Wallin, J. T. Bailey,
and Homer Evans on Monday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m.  In the
Christian Union Church at Keaton.
   
Burial followed in the family cemetery at Keaton under the
direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
