ELLA ESTEP
1886-1954
Funeral services were held today at the home at Fuget for
Mrs. Ella Estep, 68, wife of Harrison Estep, who died in
the local hospital Sunday following an illness of five
days.
Born October 14, 1886, in Johnson County, she was the
daughter of the late James and Laura Mahan McKenzie. She
was a member of the United Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Oran Estep, Flint, Michigan,
Gladdy Estep, Fuget; one daughter, Mrs. Hermalee Shaw,
Cincinatti, Ohio and ten grandchildren.
Also surviving are six brothers, Powell McKenzie, Flat
Gap. Oscar McKenzie, Piketon, Ohio, Halleck McKenzie,
Volga; Earl McKenzie, Flat Gap; Beldon McKenzie, Volga,
Frank McKenzie, Volga; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Long,
Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Marie McCarty, Chillicothe, Ohio.
Burial was in the family cemetery under the direction of
the Paintsville Funeral Home.
