HAROLD DANIELS 1923-1960 Harold Daniels Dies Dec. 27 In New York Harold Daniels, 37, died in a hospital in Fredonia, N.Y., at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, of a cerebral concussion. The son of Frank Daniels and Mahala Preston Daniel of Silver Creek, N.Y., he was born at Offutt October 25, 1923, and had lived at Fredonia for the past twelve years where he was employed as a steel mill worker. Surviving besides his parents are two sons, Arthur and Danna Daniels, both of Columbus, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Oakie Fraley, Thelma; Mrs. Ethel Penix, Silver Creek, N.Y.; Mrs. Beatrice Daniels, Van Lear; Mrs. Maybeth Fraley, Kopperstown, W.Va.; seven brothers, Shirley Daniels, Thelma; Albert Daniels, Smithers, W.Va.; G.H. Daniels, Davis Branch; Jessie Daniels, Prestonsburg; Doug Daniels, Silver Creek, N.Y.; Frank Daniels, Jr., Silver Creek, N.Y. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 Saturday, December 31, from the Old Friendship United Baptist Church with Nim Sturgill and L.T. Preston as officiating ministers.
