LORA DANIEL 1878-1963 Mrs. Lora Daniel, 84, died at her home at Tutor Key, Saturday, November 9, after an illness of several months. The daughter of Joe and Alta Preston Fairchild, she was born in this county December 27, 1878, and lived at Tutor Key most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Daniel, Janurary 3, 1900. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Tive Daniel and Mrs. Howard Kerns both of this city; Mrs. Flora Adams and Mrs Leon Nietubie both of Tutor Key; three brothers, Lawrence “Tuck” Fairchild, Thealka; John Fairchild, Tolar; Ray Fairchild, Ashland; a sister, Mrs. Flora Moore, Belfry; also surviving are eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the home with Claude Preston and Edgar Vanhoose officiating ministers. Music by the Tutor Key singers. Burial was in the Daniel Cemetery.
