MYRTLE COPLEY 1912-1968 Myrtle Copley, 55, Dies On April 24 In West Virginia Mrs. Myrtle Hall Copley, 55, died Wednesday, April 24 1968, in Guyan Valley Hospital at Logan, West Virginia, after a brief illness. Born in Johnson County on August 30 1912, she was the daughter of Norma Robinson Sturgill and the late Luther Sturgill. She was married to Levi Copley, who survives, and lived at Indianapolis, Indiana, at the time of her death. Additional survivors include two sons, Charles Hall, of Fairfield, Conn.; and James Hall of Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Caven of Logan, W. Va.; and Mrs. Eunice Marcum, of Bridgeport, Conn.; four brothers, Rev. James Sturgill, of Auxier; Jack Sturgill, of Thealka; Milford Sturgill, of Ironton, Ohio; and Edgar Sturgill, of Indianapolis, Indiana; and one sister, Mrs. Maggie Lafferty of Denver, Colorado. Services were held Saturday, April 27 in the Free Will Baptist Church at Thealka, with Rev. Don Fraley officiating. Interment followed in the Dixon Cemetery at Sitka under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home. PAINTSVILLE HERALD FEB.1968
