LAURA CHILDERS
1908-1982
  
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, July
7, 1982 for Laura Music Childers, 73, of David.
  
Mrs. Childers died July 4, 1982 at her home.  She was born
November 27, 1908 in Johnson County, a daughter of W. H. and
Maggie Hurt Music.
  
Her husband, Forest Childers, preceded her in death June 3, 1970.
  
Surviving are two sons, John Forest Childers, Belleview, Ohio, and
Glen Mack Childers, Prestonsburg, two daughters, Hazel Shepherd
and Ruchemmie Hager, both of David, one sister, Mamie Music,
Bonneta Springs, Fla, eight grandchildren and one great
grandchild. Dick VanHoose, Vernon Slone and Les Long will
officiate at services in Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel.
  
Burial will follow in the family cemetery at Meally.
