PAULINE CASTLE 1920-1997 Pauline Castle, 77, of Nippa, died Wednesday, December 3, 1997, at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. She was born November 25, 1920, in Powell County, the daughter of Lawrence and Edna Huff Castle. She was a member of the Baker Branch Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William "Bill" Castle, who died in 1992. They were married October 29, 1937, in Paintsville. She is survived by six sons, William Earl Castle of Ashland; Tobie David Castle of Mascoutah, Ill.; Lawrence D. Castle of Nippa; and Bobby Lee Castle of Lowmansville; Marvin Ray Castle of Knoxville, Tenn.; and Roger Ray Castle of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter, Diane Daniels, of Wittensville; four brothers, Ernest Ray Castle and Lawrence Castle, both of Atlanta, Indiana; Isaac Castle of Chillicothe, Ohio; and Harry E. Castle of Wurtland; four sisters, Annis Meade of Catlettsburg; Deloras Castle of Bellafonte, Penn.; Marrie Rose Peterson of Pensacola, Fla.; and Garnett Slone of Payson, Ariz.; 14 grand-children; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services were December 6, at the Baker Branch Freewill Baptist Church with Jeff Burchett and Venny VanHoose officiating, and Preston Funeral Home caring for the arrangements.
