MARY CASTLE
1885-1961
Mrs. Mary Castle, 75, resident of Turner Branch, died in a local
hospital at 4:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 9,1961 following an illness of
three years.
The daughter of George and Lizzie Jackson Henderson, she was born in
Morgan County October 13, 1885, and had lived in this community for the
past 12 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Arch Castle; two sons, Walter and Frank
Blair, both of Columbus, OH; five daughters, Ruby Hamilton, Thealka;
Elizabeth Flammington, London, Ohio; Cora Cantrill and Sylvia Robinson
both of Columbus, Ohio; Betty Stambaugh of this city; one half brother,
Floyd Jackson of this city.
Also surviving are two step-daughters, Hazel Henry, Louisa; Ruby
Sparks, River; two step-sons, Charley Castle, Lorain, O.; Arch Castle,
Jr., Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 11, from the
chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with Arthur Ramey as officiating
minister.
Burial will be in the Town Cemetery.
